Tomorrow (26) marks the 17th anniversary of the tsunami disaster.
The National Disaster Management Center (NDMC) has instructed the public to observe a two minute silence in memory of the victims of the tsunami from 9.25 am tomorrow (26).
The main memorial service will be held tomorrow (26) near the memorial at the scene of the Hikkaduwa-Paraliya train accident.
The Disaster Management Center is also planning to conduct religious programs in all districts at the same time.
