The 2022 Twenty20 Cricket World Championships are set to begin in October
Arrangements have been made to hold this year’s tournament in Australia.
Accordingly, the preliminary round of the tournament will begin on October 16 and the first match will be played between Sri Lanka and Namibia in Geelong.
Four teams from the preliminary round will qualify for the Super 12 round, which will be held on October 22 at the Sydney Stadium.
The world champion Australian team and the New Zealand team are scheduled to compete there.
The much-anticipated Bandia-Pakistan match will be played on October 23 at the Melbourne Stadium.
