417 prisoners freed.

417 prisoners have been released under a special state amnesty on the occasion of Prisoner’s Day.
On the occasion of Prisoner’s Day on the 12th of September, the Prisons Department stated that the freedom was given according to the powers assigned to the President by Article 34 of the Constitution.
The release was given to a group of inmates who could not pay fines and were imprisoned for minor offenses.
The Prisons Department stated that four women were among the inmates released.
