It is reported that a fire has broken out in a ground floor of a building in front of the Colombo South Teaching Hospital in Kalubowila.
The fire broke out this morning (28) and two fire engines belonging to the Dehiwala-Mt. Lavinia Municipal Council were deployed to douse the fire, the Fire Department said.
The fire has been contained and it is suspected that the cause of the fire was an electrical leak.
