The body of an unidentified woman has been found in the Hatton Oya and the police stated that the body was found last night (06).
According to information provided by a group of estate workers at the estate, the police have found the body.
The body was found in the Shannon Fruithill Estate area in Hatton Oya.
Police suspect that the deceased was a 50 year old woman and that the body may have been in the stream for several days.
No information has been reported about the dead woman and the Hatton Police are conducting further investigations.
