The Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella has issued the relevant gazette notification preventing any program or meeting where the people are gathering without the permission of the relevant authorities.
The Director General of Health Services has stated that legal action will be taken against those who hold such gatherings or meetings without permission and that the whole of Sri Lanka has been designated as a sick area with regard to Kovid-19.
Accordingly, the Minister of Health has issued this Extraordinary Gazette Notification making several amendments to the Quarantine and Prevention of Diseases Ordinance.
