A group of doctors at the Badulla Hospital Emergency Unit has contracted Covid.

Several doctors at the Badulla Hospital Emergency Unit have been diagnosed with the Covid virus.
Dr. Palitha Rajapaksa, Senior Medical Officer of the Emergency Unit of the hospital stated that due to this the treatment activities have been severely affected.
Dr. Palitha Rajapaksa further stated that nearly 60 staff members of the hospital have been infected with the virus since the 1st of this month, including more than 20 doctors.
