An incident of killing a woman and her daughter by being attacked with a sharp weapon has been reported in Badulla Ganalpin Watta Higurugamuwa area.
The concerned woman and her two daughters were living in this estate house.
The police said that they were attacked this morning (10).
The 83-year-old mother and her 55-year-old daughters died in the incident, while the other 62-year-old daughter was in critical condition with cuts and was referred to Badulla Hospital for treatment.
Badulla police are currently conducting investigations to arrest the suspects in the incident and the reason for the murder has not yet been revealed.
