A person was arrested with a stash of heroin

According to information received by the officers of the special raid unit established at the headquarters camp, a person was arrested with heroin in a raid conducted by the special task force.
The raid was carried out yesterday (24th) in Reclamation Road, Pitakotuwa.
It is reported that a stock of heroin worth nearly ten lakh rupees was found in the possession of the suspect.
The arrested suspect is a 25-year-old youth and further investigations are being carried out by the Pitakotuwa Police.
