A PROPOSAL TO LIMIT ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION

Gamini Lokuge, Minister of Power and Energy states that a proposal to reduce electricity consumption will be submitted to the next Cabinet.
The Minister has also stated that he does not expect any power cuts on today (22), tomorrow (23) and the day after tomorrow (24).
The proposals include turning off street lights and turning off office equipment.
