The Chairman of the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Dr. Prasanna Gunasena states that the total number of Kovid vaccines and booster vaccines required for the country has been completed by today (09).
He pointed out that the number of doses of AstraZeneca, Cyanoform, Sputnik, Modernna and Pfizer vaccines currently imported into the country is four and a half million and sixty thousand.
Of these, 6.8 million have been donated by the Governments of China, Japan, the United States and India, as well as by the World Health Organization (WHO), said Dr. Prasanna Gunasena.
The cost of a single injection ranges from $ 5 to $ 7.5, the chairman of the State Pharmaceutical Corporation said in a note on his Facebook account.
