A tipper overturned and one person died

It is reported that the driver of the tipper truck was killed in an accident yesterday (18) around 11 pm in Ibbagamuwa, Kiridigalla area.
As police suspect, the accident occurred due to the driver falling asleep while carrying black stones from Ridhigama towards Gokarella.
A resident of Matale died in the accident and the Kiridigalla bridge was also damaged in the accident.
It is reported that the Maduragoda police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
