A wasp attack on the Sri Pada sacred area

A group of pilgrims at the Sri Padasthana have been attacked by a wasp.
The victims of the wasp attack were rushed to the Erathna Hospital following a tip off received by the police.
Nearly 15 people have been attacked by wasps.
The group was on their way to pay homage to Sri Pada in the Erathna area in Kuruwita yesterday (15) morning when they were attacked by a wasp.
The victims were residents of Kegalle, Kuruwita and Udawalawe.
