Adani seems to have invaded the media industry as well.

Gautam Adani, a well-known businessman in India, has arranged to buy a majority stake in NDTV, one of India’s leading television companies.
The original owners of NDTV have stated after the relevant share transaction that Adani has made the purchases without their consent.
However, Adani Company, which responded to it, stated that it had purchased 29.18% of the shares of NDTV Company according to its financial ownership.
Adani further stated that it expects to buy another 26% of its shares under accepted regulations.
