For the third day in a row, the number of Kovid infections has crossed 700 yesterday (13).
The Commander of the Army, General Shavendra Silva stated that another 716 infected persons were identified yesterday.
The number of daily Kovid infections was reported to have exceeded 700 on the 11th and with this the number of Kovid infections in the country is increasing rapidly again.
The total number of Kovid infections reported in the country is increasing to 549,500 and it is reported that 523,503 of them have been cured so far.
Accordingly, 12,025 people are currently receiving treatment, according to the Government Information Department.
