A gazette notification has been issued revising the water charges.
According to the relevant gazette announcement, it is stated that all consumers who are supplied with water through the water supply schemes of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board will be charged with effect from September 1, 2022.
Accordingly, the water charge of any premises includes usage charge, monthly service charge, other charges and applicable taxes.
The water bill usually shows the total monthly water charge and any customer who requires a Value Added Tax/suspended Value Added Tax invoice in addition to their water bill can get it by prior registration with the National Water Supply and Drainage Board.
