Sri Lanka Customs has advised all air passengers to avoid carrying prohibited and restricted goods or temporarily suspended goods or commercial goods in baggage through the airport or UPB warehouses with immediate effect.
The Sri Lankan Customs issued a statement and further stated that if the instructions are not followed, according to the provisions of the Act, all the goods brought illegally will be confiscated and in addition fines will be imposed.
