A special gazette notification has been issued prohibiting the use of rice and paddy for production.
The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) yesterday (24) issued a special gazette notification banning the use of rice or paddy for animal feed production.
Accordingly, Consumer Affairs states that the direct use of rice or paddy for the production of animal feed, or the use of it as an inputs for the production of animal feed, can not be sold, offered for sale, stockpiled, stored, transported, distributed or purchased. The authority further said.
