The management of the factory has decided to appoint another Sri Lankan to replace Lakpriyantha Kumara, who was brutally murdered in Pakistan recently.
This was stated during a meeting between the Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Pakistan, Vice Admiral Mohan Wijewickrama and the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan’s Special Envoy on Religious Coexistence Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Afrafi and the religious leader Maulana Tariq Jameela.
On the 3rd, Priyantha Kumara was brutally murdered by factory workers for allegedly insulting his religion.
