Bakery owners have decided to increase the prices of bakery products including bread due to the increase in the price of wheat flour.
The President of the All Ceylon Bakery Owners’ Association NK Jayawardena has stated that a statement will be made in this regard this morning (28).
The price of wheat flour has been increased yesterday (27) and the cost of bakery products has already increased sharply, according to the owners of the bakery.
Accordingly, it has been decided to increase the prices of bakery products from tomorrow (29) and a statement will be made in this regard today, said NK Jayawardena.
