Central Bank’s decision to keep the policy interest rate stable.

In the meeting held yesterday (05), the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has decided to maintain the policy interest rates of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka unchanged at the current level.
Accordingly, the Central Bank has decided to maintain the current level of Fixed Deposit Facility Rate (SDFR) at 14.50% and Fixed Lending Facility Rate (SLFR) at 15.50%.
The statutory reserve ratio also remains unchanged at 4.00%.
