Concession period to pay traffic fines

The Department of Posts states that a grace period has been given until April 23 to pay traffic fines to post offices. Due to the declaration of April 11 and 12 as public holidays, it has been decided to give a grace period till April 23 to pay the non-payment of traffic fines issued by the police without incurring additional fines. The Post Master General further stated that a grace period of up to 23 days has been granted to pay these fines in accordance with Section 215 (a) of the Motor Traffic Act, subject to the cover approval of the Secretary to the Ministry of Finance.
