The Department of Immigration and Emigration states that the issuance of passports under the normal service will resume from tomorrow (09).
The department said in a statement that the one-day service would not resume tomorrow. Accordingly, the Department of Immigration and Emigration stated that applications will be accepted from those who have reserved a time to obtain passports under the normal service on the 5th, 6th and 9th of this month.
Also, action will be taken tomorrow to accept the applications of those who came to submit their applications for passports under the normal service and obtained a number or a stamp from the department on the 5th.
From tomorrow (10) it is mandatory to book a date and time for the submission of passport applications and a date or time can be booked from the website of the Department of Immigration and Emigration or by calling 0707 10 10 60.
The issuance of passports by the Department of Immigration and Emigration was recently suspended due to an urgent repair to the computer system.
The department stated that the technical staff is currently in a hurry to resume the one day service.
