DONATIONS FROM CHINA TO SRI LANKA’S HEALTH SECTOR

The Government of China has provided a stock of medical equipment to the Government of Sri Lanka.
The value of the stock of equipment is Rs. 127 million.
Following a special request made by the Government of Sri Lanka, action has been taken to deliver this stock of medical equipment to Sri Lanka immediately.
Accordingly, the official handing over of the medical equipment took place at the Ministry of External Affairs today (10).
Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Ki Shenhon has officially handed over the stock of medical equipment to Prof. Channa Jayasumana, Minister of State for Drugs.
