ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS GET SICK

The Engineers Association of the Ceylon Electricity Board stated that today (18) electrical engineers island wide are reporting sick leave and engaging in a trade union action.
Mr. Charitha Jayanath, a member of the Executive Committee of the Ceylon Electricity Board stated that the trade unions are taking action based on several issues including protesting against the new General Manager appointed to the Board.
He has also stated that a protest is planned in front of the CEB head office this morning (18).
