EMPLOYEES OF SEVENAGALA SUGAR FACTORY GET BONUS TWICE FOR YEAR

The Sevanagala and Pelwatta sugar factories, two factories owned by the Ceylon Sugar Company, have been profitable for many years.
Therefore, for the first time, 6,700 factory workers were given bonuses twice a year.
The bonus was made under the patronage of State Minister Janaka Wakkumbura.
