It is reported that Education Minister Susil Premajayantha has said that 30% of 4-year-old children in Sri Lanka do not attend pre-school.
The minister said that the pre-child development stage is very important and the most attention is paid to it in the world.
The minister has also said that there are about 6000 pre-school diploma holders in this country.
