According to the International Financial Corporation, which is the investment arm of the World Bank, a foreign exchange facility of 400 million dollars will be provided for the import of essential foodstuffs, medicines and fertilizers to Sri Lanka.
The department issued a statement saying that the financial facility will be granted to three private banks.
