It is reported that a mango was auctioned for Rs 85,000 in the annual offering auction at Thavasikulam Sri Vinayagar Temple, Vavuniya.
According to reports, this mango fruit was bought in the auction by a person who came from abroad.
It is said that annual pujas are held in the temples of Vavuniya district and auctions are also held there.
