It is reported that a four-year-old boy fell into an unsafe water-filled well cut near the house and died.
The police said that this happened near a house in Bandarakoswatta, Midiyala area of Wariyapola police domain yesterday (26th) morning.
It has been revealed in the investigation that the child was playing near the house and died after falling into a well filled with unsafe water which was connected to a height of about 2 feet behind the house.
Wariyapola Police is conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
