It is reported that yesterday (29) two women and a person who ran the brothel were raided and raided on a tip that a brothel was being run in Chundikkuli area of Jaffna claiming that it was a shelter in a rented house.
Also, about two months ago, about ten women from Colombo came to this brothel and it is said that the Jaffna police received complaints that prostitutes were provided to people coming to Jaffna.
The two arrested women are residents of Dehiwala area of Colombo while the other suspect is a resident of Jaffna area.
They are scheduled to be presented to the Jaffna Court and the Jaffna Police is conducting further investigations.
