It is reported that the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court has today (28) issued an order prohibiting five trade union activists including Duminda Nagamuwa, the Propaganda Secretary of the Frontline Socialist Party, from holding demonstrations on several roads in and around the Ministry of Health, according to a statement made by the Maradana Police Station Commander.
Accordingly, the Police Media Division has announced that the relevant ban will be in effect tomorrow (29) until 10 am.
The police have mentioned that this group is preparing to hold a protest march near the National Hospital.
