A news of a husband killing his wife has been reported from Mihintalea area.
The police said that the man killed his wife with a blunt weapon due to a family dispute last night.
The murder was carried out in a house in Mihintalea, Kelela Tirappanaya, Ulagama area.
A 23-year-old woman died there.
The woman’s 32-year-old husband has been arrested in connection with the murder, and the Mihintalea police are conducting further investigations.
