It is reported that President Ranil Wickramasinghe said this morning (20th) when he visited the Malwathu and Asgiri abbots that he is looking for Japan’s support in establishing a Maha Vihara University for the study of Theravada Buddhism and hopes to make a statement in this regard during his upcoming visit to Japan.
