It is reported that an officer of the Thanamalwila Police was seriously injured when a stun gun went off during a raid and was hospitalized.
Accordingly, it is stated that the police officer was transferred to Hambantota General Hospital after being admitted to Tanamalvila Hospital.
According to reports, while checking a suspicious person in Wijayapura area on Thanamalvila road in Udawala, the person ran away to a nearby land and while trying to catch him, the concerned police sergeant was in danger.
