It is reported that a suspect involved in a murder was arrested by Norochchola Police yesterday (28) near Tewatta Church in Ragama Police Domain.
50-year-old Sethapola, a resident of Mamria area, has been arrested.
On the 26th, a suspiciously dead body of a woman was found with cuts on her forehead and left hand near Setapola Lagoon, Norochcholaya. Later, the Norochchola police started an investigation regarding the related incident and accordingly the suspect was arrested.
The suspect is scheduled to be produced before the Puttalam Magistrate’s Court today (29) and further investigations are being carried out by the Norochchola Police.
