It is reported that Nalaka Bandara Kottegoda MP has said that he will start a sterilization pilot project for male relawns who cause crop damage in Matale district.
He mentioned that the Matale District Coordinating Committee has drawn attention to this and the Ministry of Agriculture has allocated financial allocations for it.
“Discussed as an agricultural problem that has arisen in this area with the increase in relawn population in Matale district, the first male relawn sterilization project to be implemented here in Sri Lanka as a pilot project. Money has been allocated for this.”
