It is reported that a person was arrested yesterday (19) for running an illegal ganja farm.
A 24-year-old resident of Hambegamuwa area has been arrested.
It is said that this suspect had grown 3000 ganja trees and 25,000 ganja seedlings in an area of about half an acre.
The Hambegamuwa Police stated that all the relevant cannabis trees were burnt and destroyed.
