It is reported that a mother was arrested for bringing drugs to an inmate of the Kalutara prison.
The woman’s son is a prison inmate and the suspect brought a pair of shorts for her son. The prison officials were suspicious about this and when they checked it, they found more than 5 grams of heroin hidden in a paper in the hem of the pants.
It is said that the woman who has been arrested is a resident of Kalutara Vilegoda area.
