It is reported that a spectacular motorcycle ride from Lumbini to Colombo in Nepal will be held next year.
Accordingly, the State Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs has stated that this motorcycle ride will be held under the theme of “Buddha’s Longest Path” to Lumbini in Nepal, India and Sri Lanka, and 15 members of the three armed forces of the two countries are going to participate in it.
Also in Sri Lanka, about 100 young people are going to join this motorcycle ride.
The Ministry mentioned that the ride will start from Lumbini and will pass through Kusinara, Saranath, Vaishali, Nalanda, Bodh Gaya, Rajgiri, Calcutta and several other cities in India and then arrive in Chennai with the support of the Indian-Sri Lankan Navy.
After that, passing through Jaffna, Mihintalea, Anuradhapura, Matale, Kandy, Mahianganaya, Kataragama, Matara, Galle, it is scheduled to reach Kelaniya and Colombo.
