A NEW ELECTORAL SYSTEM.

It is reported that the Presidential Secretary Mr. Saman Ekanayake has instructed the Election Commission including the Chairman of the Election Commission, Mr. RML Ratnayake, to prepare methods to reduce the time from the date of receipt of nominations to the election day, and to prepare this method by taking examples from countries with advanced election systems including Europe.
