It is reported that a Palestinian national who was staying in this country in violation of immigration conditions was arrested yesterday (16) by the Galle Crime Division in Hikkaduwa, Wewala area.
This suspect is a person who came to Sri Lanka on a tourist visa and without a valid passport, he was arrested while violating the conditions of the visa while staying at a hair cutting place.
It is said that the arrested suspect is a 32-year-old man and will be produced before the Galle Magistrate’s Court today (17).
The Galle District Crime Division is conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
