It is reported that a person lost his life after an earthen mound collapsed in the Mahakumburu area of Nawalapitiya yesterday afternoon (02).
The mound of earth fell on the body of a person who was cutting the foundation of a newly constructed embankment.
A 62-year-old resident of Nawalapitiya, Veralugashinna has died.
