It is reported that a person who went swimming in the Victoria Reservoir drowned yesterday (25).
It is said that the concerned person had gone swimming with the residents.
The deceased was a 48-year-old resident of Aluthwatta, Rajawella area.
The police said that the man was rescued by local residents while he was drowning and died after being admitted to Theldeniya Hospital.
