It is reported that a person has died after being attacked by a wild elephant in Katukaliawa area yesterday (07).
The police said that the man died after being admitted to Diyabeduma Hospital with serious injuries.
The deceased was a 47-year-old resident of Diyabeduma.
Diyabeduma Police is conducting further investigations on this matter.
