The Colombo Crime Division says that a person was arrested yesterday (22) in the Halmulla area of Wellampitiya on suspicion of having telephone contact with an organized crime gang leader Nandun Chinthaka Wickramaratne alias Harak Kata.
A 27-year-old resident of Halmulla area of Wellampitiya has been arrested.
According to the Colombo Crime Division, it has been revealed that the arrested suspect has given a registered SIM card in his name to his cousin who is currently in prison.
