It is reported that a person who was shot and injured in Maligawatta area has died.
The police mentioned that the person in question was arrested on the first day of Maligawatta H. R Jotipala Mawatha was injured in a shooting incident and was being treated at the Colombo National Hospital.
He was a 38-year-old resident of Baseline Road, Colombo 08.
The shooting was done by two unknown persons who came on a motorcycle and ran away and the 20-year-old motorcyclist who came for the shooting was later arrested by the Colombo Crime Division.
