It was reported from Ratnapura area today (16) about a gem that was sold for a very high price and it was a blue faire gem that was sold.
According to reports, this gem has been found in a gem mine in Kahawatta Kattange area and it has been sold for 43 crore rupees.
It is also reported to be ninety-nine carats.
The gem in question was bought by a gem businessman in Palmadulla area.
