It is reported that President Ranil Wickramasinghe has said that the main reason for the collapse of the country’s economy is the “politics of promises”.
The President said this at an event held at the Customs Headquarters in Colombo celebrating the International Customs Day.
Accordingly, the President asked all political parties to prepare a comprehensive plan for building the country, especially when preparing for the elections.
