It is reported that a group of people traveling in a car in Kilinochchi, Udayanagar area were shot at by two people traveling on a motorcycle and the driver of the car was injured.
It is said that the shooting was carried out due to an argument when the car driver and two others went to Kanakapuram area in a car.
The driver of the car who was injured in the shooting has been admitted to the Kilinochchi hospital and he is a 38-year-old resident of Udayanagar, Kilipanachi.
The Kilinochchi police are conducting further investigations to find the suspects who did the shooting.
